Literature Text

If only this could last,
This moment of bliss
At such an early hour,
The peaceful calm
My heartbeat, the only sound
Perched in a tree, high atop the hill
Waiting for my revelation,
I wonder where I will reappear
Not here
Leaping from the great oak, I carry onward
Walking through a field of gold,
Waist high, covered in sweet morning dew
Below, in the valley, a small stream,
I can hear it softly whipsering to me
Simplicity and beauty
My mind wanders
The birds awake, chirping
I turn to admire them,
Only to notice a silhouette on the horizon
Sun to her back, watching me
A flowing white dress
Curiosity begins to build
Who is she?
I slowly walk toward her
As she turns, I catch the glimmer of a single tear
With that, she vanished
This search for my truth only yeilding more questions
I am not even sure where to begin... Too many thoughts and emotions behind this one. It needs a lot of work still. I am not completely happy with it.

It's a good piece.

My favorite part;

"Only to notice a silhouette on the horizon
Sun to her back, watching me
A flowing white dress
Curiosity begins to build
Who is she?
I slowly walk toward her
As she turns, I catch the glimmer of a single tear
With that, she vanished"

Who is she?
